  We booked the sunset tour (beginning at 2 pm) and spent the better part of 4 hours exploring a private mountain, rock jumping into tide pools, and watching the most... read more beautiful sunset at an outlook over Jaco. Joey went above and beyond with our trip and taught us about local wildlife - including a troop of white faced capuchins, scarlet macaws, and highways of cutter ants - while making sure we had multiple photo opportunities. He also made sure to reach out after the tour via WhatsApp to send us videos and photos he captured on his personal camera. Joey made sure everyone was comfortable with the tour speed, provided fresh fruit and bottled water, and took us to beaches we would never have been able to explore outside the tour. After the tour ended he gave advice on local restaurants and best routes back to our destination.

I can comfortably say this was the best tour (ATV or otherwise) that I have ever experienced across 5 countries. The group was limited to 6 participants which made the tour more personal. Joey and Alex both did a fantastic job getting to know each and every one of the group while adjusting the tempo of the tour to match the experience of the riders.

He gave us a lot of interesting information and we enjoyed all of our conversation with him. He loves Costa Rica and that came through as we went along our tour! The lunch was absolutely delicious, we saw a few waterfalls and enjoyed a refreshing dip and some rock jumping! I plan to bring my teenager kids back next year! If you are staying anywhere near Jack, I highly recommend this tour and to request Ramiro as your guide!
